As the start of school approaches and you begin to prepare with your child, don't forget to check the school website for a supply list. On the school web site, under the first grade newsletter, a supply list for your child is available. Please contact me with questions or concerns.

Olympics

Today is the kick-off for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. We will be discussing the Olympics and China as part of our social studies curriculum this fall. Please take any opportunity you have to view, with your child, an Olympic event or some of the Chinese culture or geography segments that are shown. It should make for some great learning and discussions.
